Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is an Canadian Actress who is best known for her role as the star of Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Television series Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te is enamoured. Emeraude is also an accomplished model and dancer. As a Montreal resident, she was born and raised as a child in Texas and was always interested in dancing. As a little girl she began to learn different forms of dancing. Her first participation in beauty contests when she was the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia garnered significant fame in 2008 after she was a part of the second season of the Univision beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. Her acting debut came in the year 2010, playing receptionist in the Telemundo TV show Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in the action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film. Toubia has received two Teen Choice Awards nominations for Choice TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi, in the years 2017 and 2018 for her performance in Shadowhunters.
