Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh was born 17 October 1992 in India is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati. Her other awards include three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the child of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she started her career as an actress. After completing her studies in fashion design, she went back to film. Her first leading performance in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success at the box office. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite each other. However, the films were not a success at the theaters. The actress had to pull out of a variety of projects she had been making in 2015 like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for larger projects. In the following years, she was working on Rajini Murugan's Remo with two short film. In addition, Dhanush and she played leading roles in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The release of the film was delayed in 2015 and will now be after September 2020. It will have an alternative title Janakitho Nauu. The first film to debut is Nenu Sailaja in 2016, with actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy debuted in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay.
