Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. He blends soul gospel jazz and R&B in a distinct mix. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway up to the Democratic National Convention to the European music scene and the club scenes. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta she was born in Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical path began at church where she sang and played piano. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. It has been remixed and a component of her set. She also contributed to The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. In 2005 she took on the role of the pianist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award winner) offered her an opportunity to be the choral conductor of Dreamgirls in Atlanta during the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous during the four daily performances in 2008. Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
