Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder gave her the name of the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor, as were Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's father was born into the Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder's parents relocated her and their children in Mendocino County California when Ryder was seven years old. They didn't have electricity. Television books were the only way for Ryder for her time, and she was a voracious reader. At the age of twelve, Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. In 1986 she was offered her first major-screen appearance in the film Lucas when she was just fifteen years old. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout high school. Her professional acting, she believed, would help her. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But she continued to pursue her dreams. In 1988, she got her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her characters in numerous films. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
