John Denver is a popular musician and singer who has touched many people with his music. Most of his songs were inspired by Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell in New Mexico. He fell in love with Colorado and moved to Aspen. A few made their way to Colorado following the Denver's cult national anthems in his new home. G. Brown the curator of Colorado Music Hall of Fame has stated it was John Denver was the best performer in capturing Colorado. Denver was one of the very one of the first Hall of Fame inductee in 2011. Denver is the icon of Colorado for many people across the globe. When I travel, I always encounter someone on the other continent, a person from New Zealand and you say "I'm from Colorado The first word to come that comes out of their mouths is"Oh John Denver! Brown said. Take Me Home Country Roads was one of Denver's biggest solo hit after appearing with a small group of folk musicians. It was co-written and produced by Bill Danoff. Danoff composed the track in the spirit of Johnny Cash, but Denver was able to hear the song's early versions and was aware that it was going to be a top 10 hit. In the days following his performance before a large crowd on the streets of Washington D.C., the singer recorded his song.
