Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing an acting career when she was enrolled in Stanford University. Following a handful of roles, such as in Pleasantville as well as Election. She started her professional career in the early 2000s playing a variety of small-sized television shows. in the comedic The Invisible Man, 2003 she debuted in a major feature film. In the following years, she was a part of several television series, including House of Lies Whitney, Better Call Saul and The Invisible Man. She has also appeared in the films The Dictator and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. As well as her profession as an actor, she is also an accomplished artist. She has displayed her artwork in a variety of galleries.
